    I looked all over eBay and Amazon for a decent unfilled heavy canvas bag, and I just couldn’t find one I liked. So I did a google search and this Arawaza bag came up in the images. Glad I found it!

    I’m a sprinter & jumper in the sport of track & field, I’m by no means an experienced boxer or martial artist, but I started boxing in my garage because it’s fun and a wicked workout. This bag was perfect for me. I got the large size and it’s a full 16” in diameter when fully pack and is 54” from the bottom of the bag to the top.

    I filled it with the fill from old pillows, blankets and sleeping bags and it turned out to be 30lbs with a nice soft give which is what I wanted since I have no idea what I’m doing and I didn’t want to break a wrist or knuckle 🙂 The 16oz canvas seems to be very durable, and the bottom tie down D ring is very useful to stop bag swing.

    The only correction I had to make was with one of the S hooks on one of the 4 chains. It was installed the wrong way so I had to pry it open with a large flat head screwdriver, reverse it, then crimp it back closed with a pair of strong pliers. I have experience as a bike mechanic so bending some metal around like this was something I was used to. Not a big deal really.

    The staff at Arawaza are very kind and helpful and answer all your questions promptly by email. They even recalculated the shipping for me, and it was only around 30USD to get it from Canada to central New York. Happy with Arawaza and this bag. Highly recommended.
