Uniforms and clothing

To maintain the quality of your karate uniform, we recommend storing it in its original packaging or in a separate garment bag. Avoid storing the uniform with protective gear such as gloves or shin guards, especially those with Velcro fastenings, as they can catch on the fabric and cause damage. Cold water wash by hand or in a laundry bag in the washing machine and hang to dry (do not iron, do not use Javel/Bleach)

Polyurethane (PU) covered protective equipment, training gear and tatamis

Wipe with a soft cloth and gentle soap (the cloth must be damp not dripping wet, be certain to squeeze out the excess soapy water prior to using)

Helmet protector

Improper handling may result in mechanical damage to the product. When putting on or removing the Arawaza^® Helmet Protector, do not apply excessive force, stretch, or twist the material. Avoid pulling strongly on the facial section or the Velcro strap. The helmet shall be opened and adjusted carefully to prevent tearing, cracking, or deformation of the protective components.

Belts

Washing not recommended

Chest guard and cool guard

Bras – cold water wash, hang to dry and  Plastic guard – wipe with a soft cloth and gentle soap (the cloth must be damp not dripping wet, be certain to squeeze out the excess soapy water prior to using)

Shoes and Sport bags

(exterior only) and sport/gear bags (interior/exterior): Wipe with a soft cloth and gentle soap (the cloth must be damp not dripping wet, be certain to squeeze out the excess soapy water prior to using)
