ArawazaⓇ WKF products are Approved by the World Karate Federation to be worn in official tournaments sanctioned by WKF. ArawazaⓇ WKF uniforms have a specific color of embroidery on the chest and back of the neck and can also have embroidery on the shoulders.
ArawazaⓇ Gold uniforms have gold embroidery on the shoulders, chest, back of the neck and right hip. This uniform is very popular amongst coaches, instructors and athletes in various events or trainings. However, it is of mandatory use in the Premier League tournaments and Senior World Championships of the WKF for the incumbent Grand Winners only. If unsure, you must verify with your federation or the organizing committee of your tournament if they allow this uniform to be worn by all competitor.

This is by-far the most amazing karate uniform I have ever worn for training. It breaths, it never binds – I even wear a weight-west sometimes and it never, ever, feels tight. It is soooo smooth and just looks great. I might even buy another one.

I purchased an Opal from you in November and I must say that I absolutely LOVE it. Before I go into the accolades, I must say that I think you would be well served by better advertising your Gi – it has awesome features that A) you don’t mention in your product description, and B) don’t show in the pictures. Features you would be well served to tout are the underarm gussets that prevent the jacket from rising every time you raise your arms (I love that feature), and the fabric texture that prevents sticking. You rightly advertise that it wicks sweat but that doesn’t do the Gi justice. With the bumpy texture on the interior of the material it keeps the fabric off of your skin keeping the legs from binding no matter how sweaty. The worst part about the Gi is that I do have to take it off occasionally to wash it – which happens to be a snap – quick spin through the wash on cold, hang it up, and its ready in thirty minutes. This is an awesome product you could sell more of if you tooted your horn a bit more!

This is the most lightweight kumite uniform I have ever come across… Extremely light and well ventilated for those intense training or competition bouts… I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wishes to purchase new kumite uniforms…

En ce qui concerne le kimono OPAL:
(Respect) je n’exagérerai pas en disant qu’il s’agit là de la Rolls des kimonos. Sincèrement j’invite tous les karatékas à travailler au moins une fois avec pour se rendre compte de tous les avantages qu’il apporte en combat.
Pour moi son premier atout sera sa légèreté (exceptionnel) j’aurai presque tendance à dire qu’il sait se faire oublier. Son deuxième atout sera la coupe, qui lui donne une aisance maximum (avis aux amateurs de jambes: que du bonheur).
Son troisième point fort sera le touché du tissu sur la peau et l’ensemble des aérations qui limite la transpiration et par conséquent l’effet de chaleur qui augmente la fatigue.
Son quatrième et dernier bon point que je lui trouverai, sera la beauté du produit, car même si nous sommes avant tout des guerriers on aimes aussi être regardé et là je dois dire que je ne passe pas inaperçu.(LA CLASSE)

I received my Opal Gi yesterday and was excited to wear it that evening for classes and to train in. The Gi is very nice and lightweight and really comfortable. However, the best part is when training began. It actually kept me dry. The Gi did not stick to me at all. The way that the inner material is designed keeps it from doing that. This is the BEST GI ever invented. I currently have about nine Gi’s that I use. (All were adidas as I like the fit and the logo). The unfortunate this is that I don’t want to wear any of them now. It is about time that we moved into a modern era with Gi’s and you are the first and only company to do it. Thank you so much for designing something that actually improves my kumite training. I just feel bad for anyone who hasn’t tried this Gi yet.

I won a package that contained the Arawaza Opal Gi years ago when I owned a martial arts school. I absolutely love the Gi and would wear it today if it hadn’t been for some health issues (stroke) that stopped me from training for a few years. I’ve put on too much weight to wear the Gi now haha.
I run very warm when I train, and the old cotton Gi were absolutely torturous for me to wear. I would be soaked and boiling by the end of a training session. The OPAL Gi however, kept me so much cooler and dries incredibly fast. It also never stuck to my body like my old uniforms. I absolutely recommend this Gi to any and all serious Karateka.

I have used this gi for roughly 3 years, currently waiting on a replacement, it is hands down my favour kumite go from arawaza. The fabric is both light but is very durable, and wicks away sweat like nothing.
